Jason Sandel for City Council

In this election for Farmington City Council, everything is about economic stewardship. It’s about the city operating as a successful business. And the City is a business; it’s the people’s business.

The question the people should ask in this election is, “which candidate has true business experience?” The experience of making payroll, balancing the books, establishing priorities, clarifying expectations, diversifying and ensuring great customer service? I truly have that experience. As Executive Vice President of Aztec Well Servicing, I have a breadth of hands-on leadership in running a business, and I have proven to be an effective leader.

The Daily Times endorses Jason Sandel 2/27/10. Read the article from the Daily Times.

Jobs and creating new possibilities

Now is the time for innovative economic development

Any good business is always looking to capitalize upon a downturn such as what we are currently experiencing. Now is the time to look for ways to grow and diversify Farmington. Our vision must be focused on building a destination economy and responsibly expanding our horizons. It is time that we further our commitment to senior services, outdoor recreation and multiculturalism. Through our commitment and investment in these items, we will attract even more visitors and more importantly, their investment in our community. This is the time to be innovative in our pursuit of growth and economic development.
